Our itinerary:

Day 01

Your journey begins at Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport, where our team and private driver will warmly welcome you.

From there, we’ll head straight into the lush highlands of Nuwara Eliya: a scenic drive that sets the tone for what’s to come.

After checking in at the charming Golden Ridge Hotel, take a moment to settle in. In the evening, we’ll come together for a cozy welcome dinner: the first of many shared moments to connect, create, and ease into the magic of the week ahead.

Day 02

We’ll start the day with a slow breakfast at the hotel before diving into a hands-on creative workshop led by one of our inspiring travel creators.

Afterwards, we’ll head out to explore Sri Lanka’s lush tea plantations, enjoy a guided tour and a peaceful lunch surrounded by rolling green hills.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit Bomburu Ella, a hidden waterfall tucked away from the usual tourist path. It is the perfect spot to slow down, shoot, and soak in the beauty of nature.

We’ll return to the hotel for a warm dinner to rest and recharge.

Day 03

We’ll begin with an early breakfast and check out from our hotel, then make our way to the train station for one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic experiences: the scenic train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella.

Once we arrive, we’ll check into OnRock Boutique Hotel and head into town for a cooking class and lunch in charming Ella town.

An early evening wind-down to prepare for the highlight of tomorrow: chasing the sunrise.

Day 04

We’ll start the day early with a sunrise hike to Little Adam’s Peak, a peaceful and rewarding climb with beautiful views. From there, we’ll head to the iconic Nine Arch Bridge, a perfect spot to capture the charm of Ella.

After lunch, we’ll gather for our second content workshop.

We’ll close the day with a gentle sunset yoga session, the perfect way to wind down and reconnect with yourself in nature.

Day 05

We’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the hotel before checking out and making our way down south to the seaside town of Mirissa.

Once we check into our new stay, we’ll ease into the coastal pace of life with a golden sunset at Dream Beach, home to the famous lone coconut tree.

Day 06

We’ll start the morning with sunrise at Coconut Tree Hill.

After that, we’ll head to the historic town of Galle, where we’ll spend the day wandering through its colorful streets, soaking up the charm, stories, and textures of this coastal gem.

We’ll have a creative field workshop as well to put our theoreticals into practice.

Day 07

For our final full day, we’ll ease into island time with a laid-back beach day in Hiriketiya or Tangalle.

Swim, surf, sip fresh coconuts, play a beach game or two or simply soak up the sun. It’s an open day to unwind.

In the afternoon, we’ll carve out some time for a little souvenir shopping, so you can bring a piece of Sri Lanka (and this journey) home with you.

FAQs

Who are the retreats for?

A beautiful mix of creatives, solo travelers, multi-passionates, nature lovers, and soulful explorers. Ages range from mid-20s to 45s, but more than anything, it’s about mindset: people who are kind, curious, and craving connection.

Absolutely. Most of our guests come solo, and you would have your own room. Everyone initially gets their own room upon booking, unless they request a sharing basis.

No, international flights, visas, and travel insurance are not included in the retreat price.

However, we’ll guide you on the ideal arrival and departure times AND if you’d like support with booking your flights, feel free to contact us. We’re happy to help coordinate or recommend a trusted travel partner.

Yes! You’re more than welcome to join with a friend, partner, sibling — anyone you feel would love this experience too. Just let us know when applying, and we’ll arrange for you to share a room and enjoy the journey together.

The retreat price is for a private room: your own space to unwind, reflect, and rest.
However, if you choose to join with a friend and would like to share a room, we’re happy to accommodate that based on availability. Just reach out after booking.

This retreat is designed to take you on a journey to stimulate your creative senses, so we will be on a schedule, especially on travel days. That said, we’ve ensured that our itinerary has plenty of space to slow down. You’re free to join the group activities or take time for yourself at the hotel (if it can be accommodated).

It’s your experience, and we want it to feel nourishing, not rushed.

The pace is gentle and accessible to most fitness levels. There will be light hiking (like Little Adam’s Peak), but nothing overly strenuous.

Not at all! This retreat is for anyone who loves to travel, connect, and be inspired. Whether you’re a photographer, a storyteller, or someone who just loves beautiful places and meaningful conversations, you’re welcome here.

We offer flexible payment plans and a fair cancellation policy. A deposit of USD 500 secures your spot, with the remaining balance due 15 days before the retreat. Full details will be outlined in the welcome pack.

You’ll receive a full packing guide upon booking. Think lightweight clothing, comfortable shoes, swimwear, and your camera if you’d like to shoot. We’ll keep things casual and easy throughout the trip.
